In 2023, local electrician Jake Manaton purchased Positive Electrical with a clear vision: to build a team that delivered reliable, professional service—without losing the personal touch. That natural demand led to the next chapter—Positive Heat Pumps & HVAC. When it comes to heating and cooling systems, Matt Davies leads the way at Positive Heat Pumps & HVAC. With an Advanced Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset, Matt brings deep technical knowledge and real-world experience to every project.
Having worked extensively in the mechanical and HVAC industry, Matt’s reputation is built on precision, professionalism, and practical thinking. He’s led everything from everyday heat pump installations to large-scale commercial HVAC systems. No matter the job, Matt approaches every project with the same commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Matt’s background in mechanical engineering gives him a unique edge. He doesn’t just follow installation specs—he understands how systems work from the inside out. That means he can troubleshoot problems others might miss and fine-tune heating and cooling systems for optimal comfort, efficiency, and long-term reliability.
